Absolutely Everybody

I could fill a poem
with allusions many
Long and flowery
my words could be

Talk grandly about emotions
that transcend infinity
Speak of gestures
unimaginably sweet

I will perform not
to please the crowd
I will not cry nor smile
Till the feeling isn't true inside

I will speak the truth
speak my subjective truth
I will not be ashamed
of the choices i make

I will not expect you to please
me
I will not attempt to you
please

I will not lie
